Accessorize

This presentation takes a look at the evolution of fashion from 1860 to the present, featuring photographs of pieces from the Museum's collection.  Did you know that before the hemline rose above the ankle in the 1910s, no one paid much attention to their shoes?  (No one could see them!)  Or that in the Victorian Age, it was wildly popular to make jewelry out of human hair?  Vintage advertisements add another interesting dimension to this program.  Learn more about shoes, purses, dresses, hats, jewelry, and much more!  The fee for this program is $25.
