The Wm. McKinley Presidential Library & Museum is proud to announce our schedule of summer camps.  Please download a registration form and mail back to the Museum.  For more information please contact Christopher Kenney, Director of Education.

June 25-27

3x3 Science Samplers.  This exciting new camp will bring the world of science to students in grades 1-3.  Led by the Museum's science director, there will be 3 hours of fun and educational activities each day.  Sign up for one day or sign up for all three days.  The camp runs from 9:00-12:00 each day.  Tuition is $20/day, $18/day for members.

June 25--Pop, Pop, Fizz, Fizz (Chemistry)

June 26--Sky's The Limit (Clouds, Stars & Space)

June 27--Animal Adventure (Ecology)

July 7-11

Prepare for takeoff with the Museum's Flying High: Junior Aviation Camp.   During this exciting week students in grades 6-8 will experience the thrill of flight without ever leaving the ground.  Learn about the history of aviation in Canton, aerodynamics, navigation and log simulated flight time. Students will also go on a field trip to the MAPS Museum for a tour and a visit to Jim Long Aviation to get an up close look at an airplane and learn what it takes to become a pilot.  The Director of Education, who is also an FAA licensed private pilot, will teach this camp.  The camp will run from 9:00-12:00.  Tuition is $110 per student/$100 for members.

July 14-18

Team Timken returns for the very popular Science is Cool camp.  Topics include engineering, chemistry, physics, ecology, space and stars, and much more.  The camp is designed for students in grades 6-8 and will offer a variety of activities each day.  The camp runs from 9:00-3:00 and tuition is $135 per student/$125 for members.

August 4-8

Lights! Camera! Action! is our very popular film camp that will introduce students in grades 6-9 to the art of movie making.  Participants will learn about storyboards, props, acting and special effects.  Following editing there will be a world premiere and each student receives their own DVD of the movie, complete with outtakes and behind the scenes action.  The camp runs from 9:00-2:00 each day and tuition is $135 per student/$125 for members.
